hello peeps. today i guess i will blog about what i have learnt in 2005.
to me, the year 2005 is a year in which i sort of grew up.
for me personally, i became much more aware of stuffs. yeah.
first of all, i have really recognised the importance of having an education, and the fact that there is no smooth sailing anymore. fairytales come only once, and that is in storybooks. perhaps in primary school we may have had it easier, but this year was tulmultous in terms of academics. i will never forget the mugging sessions at jurong east library and the school library, and i would definitely never forget the times we had at KAP during the end of years. kudos to all of you late-night mugging kakis : ron , ben , seann , yuxuan , koymin , justin , hong da, clement, yunting and the list goes on and on ! thanks brothers ! you all rock !(:
secondly, i learnt that family are very important, and we all really have to cherish them. someone said before: friends may come and go in our lives, but our family will always stay. yup. i agree. the quarrels, the naggings and the laughter are all what we should never give up, because it is what that makes us ourself. so people ! go and kiss your mommy and daddy ! hug your brothers and sisters ! say " how do you do ! " to your relatives ! share&spread the love people, for our family is, more often than not, neglected by us.
thirdly, friends are very important as i have come to see it. how about imagining if your best friend is a chemistry textbook? won't that be scary ? thats why we have to treasure friendship. i have also come across people who regard you just as a tool; their friendship is just a facade. i have also come across people who just throw super random tantrums and moods. someone told me that if a person is your true friend, he or she will not hesitate to tell you whats wrong with you, but she or he will also never make an attempt on hurting you, because you already have a stake in her or his heart.
in conclusion, the year 2005 is a fruitful year for me, and it has really been a rollercoaster ride, full of ups and downs. "friends today; strangers tomorrow." i dont want to have history repeat itself again. i have also made some really nice and good new friends this year! okay peeps this is really one long entry.
to quote, how nice would it be ; if we could keep time in a bottle, and take it out bit by bit. if this is the case, i will never give any time to regrets. okay, bye people !(:
